Good Karma
To be honest I am not your
typical Camden girl, but after a visit to Karmaa
for an intermediate yoga class, guided meditation and sacral
cranial balancing. Karmaa’s founding duo, have created
an oasis within the hectic centre of Camden market that
nearly put me in a trance, it was so peaceful.
The space was initially designed for the study of martial
arts, yoga, and holistic treatments, and although Karmaa
has recently incorporated plans for a conventional fitness
centre, its mission remains focused on the soul.
On arrival, I was quickly calmed by the flowing incense
and ambient chants that fill the neutral interiors.
This is the real thing: authentic classes, experienced practitioners,
macrobiotic food, and a very chilled atmosphere –
even a West End girl will cross London for that... |
